Personal Goal Statement

History is the leading inspiration towards the future.  This is why it is necessary to preserve what information we have from the past to create a better world.  The interior space that has been created by man is one of the most influential spaces of our lives.  It is important to create an environment that is positive and healthy to coexist in.  As and Interior Architect Designer, it is my goal to develop functional environments from preexisting structures.  Gaining experience that many benefit the potential for a LEED AP certification, Certified Kitchen & Bath Designer, and CID. Having achieved a MFA in Interior Architecture and design, I wish to work towards a doctorate someday with a scope on preservation and restoration.  With work experience in renovation the education background, I hope to be able to participate in research on increasing sustainability while preserving architecture.
